Mega Man X10: Snare Sloth

Bio: The elder, and more level-headed of the Sloth-Mundi duo, they were originally circus performers working in Rio before disappearing suddenly. Still calm, but now more maligned, Snare treats his opponents like he would a chess game, trying to outwit his opponent's next move even before the actual boss fight.

Design: As his name suggests, he's a giant sloth (most notably, Megatherium in terms of inspiration), with green and gray armor in parts almost like Armored Armadillo's. This armor plating is actually coated in a special, new form of nanomachine algae that both camouflage him, and can keep him fueled up for a good 24 hours without eating a single leaf.

Stage: This is a rather unique stage, as you technically play as two characters at once; using a puzzle-solving mechanic in order to get through the thick Brazilian jungles to reach Snare and Cookie. Here, you play as Axle the Red and Sting Chameleon, who will talk back and forth as they traverse the treacherous terrain.

Using their unique attributes, they conquer a tapir miniboss and reach a temple, where it seems that the two Reploids are worshipping a black cauldron full of indigo-colored liquid.

Boss Fight: When the two circus performers notice Sting and Axle, they'll retreat to the top of the temple. They'll each take turns attacking the former and the latter in different intervals. In Snare's case, he'll retreat to the left side of the temple and stomp on the ground to squish Axle. To combat this, you'll need to use Sting's camouflage and whip-like tongue to stun him long enough to be defeated by their combined, whip-like attacks.

When he reaches half-health, the snare portion of his name really shows; as his claws turn into sharp vines to attack in rapid succession.

Snare Sloth: So, the sly and cunning lizard enters the big top with a flower? Well, ain't dat just purdy, eh, Cookie?

Cookie Mundi: Sho'nuff! Naw, lesee how they handle our amazing feats!

Sting Chameleon: Oh, yes, nothing's more amazing than two Reploids Maverick-ly worshipping a cauldron.

Snare Sloth: You're gonna diss our power juice? Aw, slag, naw! IT'S ON!
