Number 001 MK.2: Dilophoratti

Scientific Name: Dilophoratti cynodontia

This strange synapsid is the only one of its kind known to man. Standing 2 feet tall at the shoulder, this small predator has an appearance similar to the fierce Dilophosaurus, and weighing as much as a small dog. With the ability to climb trees, its diet varies depending on its habitat; though they are mainly found in lowland rainforests. Prey items include, but are not limited to: insects, lizards, small mammals, birds eggs where found and occasional fruit to supplement their diet. They are mostly solitary and fiercely territorial; often attacking any other Dilophoratti in the area. Their crests play a big part in defending their territories; flashing a bright mix of red, orange and yellow as a warning. If all else fails, it tries biting the intruder until it retreats. The only time they ever interact with each other without killing each other is during mating season. This is one other use the crests have; these flash more than their usual colors to attract a mate. The average Dilophoratti can live for up to 8 years and despite their ferocity are prey items for several predators of the rainforests; including the Alioraptors. So to avoid being eaten, they do have one last defense: a poisonous bite. While it won't kill any enemy, it does paralyze prey and cause severe vomiting in predators.

Quick question, are the bipedal or quadrupedal?
